Hi, I'm Monika, founder of Brave Box. My journey began when I was hospitalized with pneumonia as a child. During my stay, I experienced firsthand how scary and isolating being in the hospital can be, but I also learned how much a small act of kindness can brighten someone's day. That experience inspired me to create Brave Box, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing comfort, hope, and encouragement to hospitalized children. Through Brave Box, we have delivered countless toys and care packages, with the goal of reminding every child that they are seen, supported, and never alone during their healing journey.
